How Can I Lose 30 Pounds Of Fat Healthfully And Lastingly?

Your body contains 70% of water, so it’s unforced to lose weight fast. Any diet that dehydrates you will make quick, dramatic weight loss. Similar to lose 10 pounds in over the weekend? That’s easy! Just stop drinking water! Of course that would be quite stupid and pretty weight lose dangerous too, but that’s exactly what you’re doing when you lose weight that fast (you’re just dehydrating yourself - or even worse - you’re losing lean body weight too!). The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), one of the biggest and most esteemed health, medical and exercise organizations in the world, has released guidelines for healthy rates of weight loss.

In their situation announcement on “Proper and improper weight loss programs,” the ACSM advises losing weight at a rate of no more than two pounds per week. These two pounds per week instruction has become recognized as the standard rate for safe weight (fat) loss. over and over I see people get eager and they attempt to violate this rule, only to lose muscle, slow their metabolisms and finally gain all the fat back…and then some! Weight loss is not something to be rushed. You can drop 30 pounds of weight in 30 days, but you’ll NEVER lose 30 pounds of fat in 30 days. There are virtually no limits to what you can attain in the long run. You will absolutely STUN yourself at how much you can get in one, two, three years if you get on a supportive, healthy, long term nutrition and training program.

You can attain virtually any fat loss or fitness goal that you’re strictly committed to. However, you must be patient; there are exact limits to how quickly you can safely achieve fat loss. To many people who are frustrated with little or no results, even with their best intentions, physique-enhancing drugs or hormones appear to be a panacea or “miracle cure.” Steroids have been there for ages. So have obesity drugs. Lately, there’s been a huge push – especially on the Internet - for the employ of Human Growth Hormone or Testosterone under the harmless sounding auspices of “anti-aging medicine” and “Hormone substitution therapy.” This sales pitch is being made mostly to the baby boomers, who very much want to regain their youthful looks and vitality.

Dramatic short-term results in body composition can be attained from use of weight loss drugs, steroids, thermogenics, thyroid drugs, growth hormone and further chemicals. However, appearances can be deceiving. The rapid weight loss road of drug utilize can be a wild ride in the beginning, but in the long run, it doesn’t lead you anywhere – it’s a dead end street. despite of whether we’re talking about illegal steroids and performance enhancers, recommendation obesity drugs, hormone substitution therapy, or even over the counter “fat burning” drugs like ephedrine, these are all really one in the same:

(1) Billion Dollar money makers, and
(2) Feeble short-term attempts at treating effects, not causes.

Let’s take weight loss drugs, for instance:

What would happen if the pharmaceutical companies at the end came out with a “safe and effective” obesity drug and brought it to the marketplace on a enormous scale? Think about it: Did Xenical cure obesity? How about Phentermine? Meridia? Adipex? Bontril? Didrex? Tenuate? What about Ephedrine? Did that answer the obesity problem? How about gastric bypasses? 60,000 were executed last year. Did that solve the obesity problem? In a few excessive cases where someone’s health is at stake, and when time is of the essence, the advantages of drugs clearly outweigh the risks. However, even in these cases, you have to concede that it’s a short-term healing. Here’s the problem with thinking that any drugs will be a long-term way out:

We live in an arranged universe where everything happens for a reason (by “law”). For every effect, there is a cause. There are no accidents.

Find Out More - Lose Holiday Weight - 3 Easy Ways

Erica said she’d been on a weight loss program for a long time but one of the reasons why it was difficult for her is because she always ends up adding several extra pounds during the holidays! In essence whatever weight Erica would lose during the whole year would return during the holiday season!

Fortunately, a few years ago she discovered some amazing weight loss tricks which helped her avoid holiday weight gain during the last two holidays. Here they are…

Trick#1

Cut down on sugar cravings with Oolong tea:

Sugar is very notorious for making a person gain weight quickly. Sugar in itself is bad enough because it tends to dissolve quickly into the body and convert into fat deposits, but the worst part is that eating sugary foods tends to increase your sugar cravings all the more! In simple words, if you eat sugary foods, you would keep eating them more and more!

The best option is to avoid sugar as much as possible, which you could do with the help of Oolong tea! You may or may not be aware of it but Oolong tea is a good antidote for sugar! Make sure you drink one cup of Oolong tea once before your breakfast and again before going to bed! You would find it pretty easy to suppress your sugary cravings this way!

Trick#2

Eat slow:

Eat slowly and savor every bite of the food you eat; that way, it would be easier for you to kill the junk food cravings and eventually you would end up eating less junk foods than usual! Experts say that our brain takes at least twenty minutes to realize that we are full. If you eat too fast then you are not giving your brain a chance to know whether you need to eat anymore or not! Consequently you would end up eating a lot more food than you need to!

In fact a recent study has found that people who eat slowly have fewer chances of gaining weight in holidays than those who eat hurriedly!

Trick#3

Cut down on high-calorie food intake:

You already know that sugar-rich foods are bad for you, so you need to avoid them as much as you can! Other foods you should avoid are white flour, loaf, cakes, biscuits, cookies, etc., as well as drinks such as alcohol and soft drinks! Once you take these foods out of your food plan, weight control would become much more easier for you!

Best Road Map to Incredibly Low Carbohydrate Diets Are The Not Finest Way To Lose Fat

When I first wrote about these two athletes as a modela case of what a genetically disadvantaged person can achieve, I received an e-mail from an angry reader (who was very overweight and convinced that his genetics were to be fault and there was nothing he could do about it). He wrote; “Tom, those are terrible fat loss examples. – Will a positive attitude restore Marla’s sight? Will positive thinking re-grow Carl’s leg?” I felt sorry for this poor guy because he entirely missed the point, and because of his own “vision problem” he has limited his own development. The answer to his questions of course, are no; the chances of positive mental behavior growing back a leg or restoring one’s sight are mighty slim.

But that doesn’t matter; the difference between people like Marla and Carl and the man who wrote to me is that Marla and Carl didn’t use their genetic disabilities as justification for their own failure and mediocrity or as an excuse for not even trying. No diet issue has created more confusion and controversy than the low carbohydrate vs. high carbohydrate debate. Contrary to what paticular diet “guru’s” tell you, carbohydrates are not fattening. It’s a flat out LIE to say, “Carbohydrates are fattening.” What’s fattening is eating more calories than your body can use at one time. However, it’s true that some people lose weight more quickly on a low carbohydrate diet (that’s not the same thing as saying carbohydrates are fattening.) It’s also true that almost each bodybuilder or fitness competitor uses some variation of the low carb diet to prepare for competitions.

Despite these facts, awfully low carb diets are not the ultimate answer to permanent weight loss. At worst they are unhealthy. At best they’re a temporary tool that should be used only for short periods to achieve specific fat loss goals (preparing for bodybuilding competition, for example). Even for carb-sensitive, insulin-resistant, hypoglycemic people who respond well to less carbs and more protein/fat, there are still many fat loss drawbacks:

1) Very low carb diets are difficult to stick to. If you remove most of your carbohydrates from your diet for a long period of time, you’re setting yourself up for a relapse. The more you cut back the carbs, the bigger the rebound will be when you put carbs back in. That’s why 95% of people gain back all the weight they lose on a very low carb diet.

2) Very low carb diets are often unbalanced and missing many nutrients. It’s still up for debate whether low carb programs like the Atkin’s diet are unhealthy, but few people would argue that the healthiest diet is one that has balance between protein, carbs and fats and includes a wide variety of foods, not an overemphasis on one food or food group.

3) Very low carb diets may be unhealthy. Many low carb diets allow large quantity of saturated and processed fats. (No toast or pancakes are allowed, but bacon, sausage, butter and whole eggs for breakfast are just fine). In the absence of carbohydrates, you can consume fat with protein and you’ll still lose weight (fat doesn’t necessarily make you fat). But it’s probably not wise to consume large amounts of saturated fat and it’s never wise to eat processed fats or trans fats. Although the effects of low carb, high fat/protein diets on various health markers is still up for debate, most people would be best to opt for a diet that is low in fat (below 30% of total calories) and moderate in carbs and protein.

What Is The Importance Of The Cabbage Soup Diet

There are various remedies that can really help you in reducing weight; one such useful remedy is called as the cabbage soup diet that can really help you in reducing weight. From ancient times, people have been using cabbage diet as one of the most useful dieting tool in order to reduce weight. Cabbage dieting was used in the past and it will still in use today as well.

The concept of using cabbage soup for dieting is the same today as it was many years back; however, it has been modified in order to make the most out of this dieting concept. Today, you can have various cabbage soup dieting pills that are readily available in the market; all using the same old concept.

If you are really concerned about your health and fitness and really want to reduce weight then most of the doctors would recommend you to try cabbage soup dieting since it really works and really provides you with desirable results, however, cabbage soup dieting is slightly restrictive as well. Cabbage soup dieting is also recommended, by doctors, to those people who have had a heart surgery in recent past. It is also recommended for those people who can’t wait for months and months to get the results.

What’s the reason of using Cabbage soup for dieting or how it works is a common question? Well, it is quite simple; the idea behind Cabbage soup for dieting is that since it is made up of lots of water and vegetables, it fills up your stomach and it helps in feeling you less hungry and the most important is that it helps in flushing the fat stored in your body; hence result in reducing weight.

Sample Days

Let’s discuss a sample five day cabbage soup diet plan for all those who want to reduce weight using the cabbage soup diet plan:

Day 1: take unlimited soup supplemented by various vegetables that you can get. Make sure that you don’t go for vegetables that are rich in starch like corn or peas etc.

Day 2: your second day should again include soup that can be supplemented by all types of fruits you like with the exception of mangoes and bananas.

Day 3: on the third day, you can continue your day 2 plan with the inclusion of some vegetables as well.

Day 4: for all banana lovers, you can have bananas and skimmed milk on the fourth day. Just make sure that you don’t have these bananas or mangoes on the second day of your cabbage soup diet plan.

Day 5: you would definitely like this day as you can have, in less proportion, some grilled meat along with some rice etc.

You must remember that if you are strictly following cabbage soup diet then you make sure that you have to say good bye to pop, tea and coffee. Exercise is another important and integral part of cabbage soup diet plan. So make sure that you spare a consistent amount of time for regular exercises daily. You are not required to spend hours and hours in gym; rather you are just required to spare 15-30 minutes for jogging or a walk, even around your home.

Maintenance Phase

When you go for a cabbage diet plan in order to reduce weight, you must keep in mind that cabbage soup diet is not recommended for longer periods of time. Most of the experts recommend that people should not be on this diet for a longer period of time since this diet can result in clearing your body from essential nutrients. You can try this diet for a week or two and it can bring satisfactory results as well.

One thing that is also important and worth mentioning here is that after seven days, even if you have decided not to go with the cabbage soup diet, make sure that you try to include soup in your daily meals.

Obesity Help - Is Lap Band Procedure A Good Solution?

Being overweight in a skinny world can be extremely frustrating and hard. As an overweight person, you are constantly aware of your size and your limitations. Airline seats turn into a major problem as you are jammed in with other passengers who may complain about the lack of room.

Somehow, this translates into it being your fault because of your weight. You feel guilty about being overweight but it is a vicious cycle that keeps on going. There is obesity help out there if you know what to do.

There are many weight loss surgery options available on the market these days. Obesity help can come in the form of the Lap Band procedure and it is helping many people become thinner. It can help you become a size that is healthier and give you the body image boost that you desperately want. It can help bring back your self-esteem and give you a chance to be yourself again.

Once the lap band is in place, it is constricted to make a small pouch above the stomach at the end of the esophagus. This small pouch will limit how much food you will be able to take in. Lap Band complications are rare and the procedure is completely reversible. When you reach your weight loss goal the lap band can be adjusted to fit your specific weight maintenance plan.

There is another thing that you will have to consider after the Lap Band procedure and that is the need for plastic surgery after weight loss. You will lose so much weight at such an accelerated rate that your skin will not be able to shrink back to a normal size. Lap Band patients are willing to undergo plastic surgery just so that they can feel “normal” again.

Is it worth the risk and the additional plastic surgery? Many people think so and the number of patients that this procedure is performed on is skyrocketing. It is a procedure that is saving many people’s lives.

  • Lap Band surgery surgery is simple
  • you may need plastic surgery after weight loss
  • in order to lose weight you can turn to weight loss surgery options

All of the obesity help and dieting just does not work on some people. For them the Lap Band procedure is a godsend. It is a chance to fit into a “skinny” society and once again be healthy. They no longer have to worry about restricted places and be forced to carry around additional weight that is endangering their lives. It is a chance to feel normal again and begin the process of loving their bodies.

Study More About Alternative Exercise Program - Isometrics - Does It Work? - How Can I Find Out?

A typical gym workout:

Sweating, breathing hard, watching the timer, cursing under my breath, aching, running out of steam, wishing to be somewhere/anywhere else, bored to tears, embarrassed by the scene in the omni-present mirrors, watching the timer some more, intimidated by the all the other “exercisers”, who make what we are doing look so easy.

Now that we are back to the local YMCA on our pre-holiday schedule, and striving to get back to our 30 minutes minimum on the treadmill, preceded by at least 10 almost agonizing minutes on the dreaded “elliptical”; I thought I might share with you some thoughts.

Oh sure, I know that the health advantages of such efforts far outweigh the downside; but, I certainly don’t have to revel in that knowledge. Exercise will probably always be lots of work. Hard work. Age and obesity only increase the effort; so, at age 61 with an extra 80 pounds draping my frame, exercise is a four letter word, no matter how you spell it, or perform it.

And granted, I do feel better at the end of each workout session than I did at the beginning—at least after my heart rate and respiration normalize—anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes on a “good” day.

Now I’ll need about ten minutes or so in a all too welcomeshower… followed by at least a ten minute “cool off” period before getting dressed. It’s cold and rainy today, so the trek through the parking lot to the car, followed by the fifteen minute drive home won’t do my cold much good.

So, here I am. Back in front of my trusty computer in just under two hours…still sweating…with legs that still think they are on the treadmill. Walking normally again will require another bit of adjustment.

That’s pretty much been the story since the day after Christmas; resulting so far in a dismal net loss of one of the nine pounds I regained during the Thanksgiving to Christmas “eating marathon”, that occurs in a family of excellent and creative cooks.

Certain that, for all of my efforts, I deserved a lot more than a one pound reward, I did a “google” for ALTERNATIVE EXERCISE; and was presented with a whole slew of options (859,000 “possibles”). Everything from belly dancing and yoga to martial arts and “water exercise for non-swimmers”. Nothing immediately caught my interest till I hit the page about Isometrics; and was reminded of the almost historic
astonishing results achieved by my high school wrestling team when they switched to using the Isometric exercise routine exclusively, and started winning match after match.

Isometrics has been practiced since even longer ago than my high school years….for thousands of years, in fact; used by athletes and health conscious civilians alike. There are probably even biblical references—cave paintings at least, though I can personally vouch for neither.

Thinking to narrow the search, I did another “google”. This time for “isometrics define” and was treated to 565,000 results. Not much relief there.

So, it’s one more search, this time going right to the source—a search for “isometrics” yielded a little over four million results. That is if you can consider 140,000 to be a “little over”.

And as usual, a significant number of those results have been created by someone with something to sell. One gentleman in particular shows up everywhere with a “super-deluxe, one-of-a-kind, guaranteed results GIZMO”. His pages are well done, and are actually kind of entertaining; especially when you know as an absolute fact that a major advantage of Isometrics is that it can be done anywhere, anytime, by nearly anyone…with absolutely NO SPECIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED.

Sure, the GIZMO with the funny name, might be fun; and if someone gives you one, don’t throw it away. Just put it in the closet where it was probably destined to end up anyhow.

For now, here’s a free “intro to Isometrics lesson” that you can expand as you see fit:

(1) Put your palms together in front of you at chest height.

(2) Push; and count slowly to seven.

Well done! You’re off to a great start.

Unbiased Road Map to Losing Fat - Can Be Accomplished Fast And Easily

Most of your diet results will be from hard training and a good diet. There are no magical pills. Why is it that people just don’t seem to realize this? It’s human nature, I suppose. We all want immediate gratification, so it’s awfully effortless to be swayed by the glossy four-page magazine spreads with that mind blowing (doctored?) before and after photos. Exact supplement companies are partly to blame for our obsession with fast results. Instead of teaching and educating the public about healthy, rational, slow and steady fat loss, they tease and tempt with very sharp marketing campaigns. Testimonials, endorsements, scientific studies and before/after photos are extremely convincing because they appeal to your emotions. “Take this pill… go to bed…wake up skinny – it’s loose weight fast magic!”

Even the names of the products were watchfully selected: Do you think it’s a coincidence that the #1 selling herbal weight loss supplement Xenadrine sounds much like the prescription drug Xenical? Not a week goes by that somebody doesn’t ask me about the ”drug” Xenadrine (Xenadrine is a brand name for an over-the-counter, ephedra product; Xenical is a recommendation drug). If you want to lose body fat, get your diet and training program in order FIRST. Once you’re having nutritiously, moderately restricting your calories, doing cardio and working out with weights, then and only then - and only if you have a clean bill of health - should you even believe a thermogenic herbal product if you need an “extra boost.”

Note: Myself, I’ve consumed ephedrine and ephedra products in the past and noticed a extremely strong stimulant result which “boosted” my workouts, but I gave them up (for many reasons), and have not used them for years. I still reach 3-4% body fat each time I fight - with no thermogenic or “fat burning” supplements whatsoever.

“Quickly” and “easily” are comparative terms. If somebody is eating poorly and not exercising, then they can lose fat extremely quickly and very easily, relative to their earlier disappointing results. All they have to do is get better their nutrition and exercise habits and a quantum leap can be made. With that distinction made, let me say unequivocally that eternal fat loss is never “easy.” There is always effort and discipline involved, as there is with any useful achievement. Endlessly searching for an easier way, a magic bullet, miracle cure, a holy grail, is a misguided mission. Losing fat is simple, but for nearly all people it is NOT easy. There’s a big difference between simple and easy:

“Simple” means there is nothing complex about the lose fat process - it’s like algebra; just plug in the numbers where the X’s and Y’s are, and the formula always makes the correct effect. “Easy” implies that something can be done with a bit or no effort. Anyone who tells you they’ve discovered an “easy” way to drop fat is lying.

Getting a lean and muscular body needs two things:

1) You must be willing to work hard
2) You must be patient

The problem with lots of people is that they retreat from anything that appears to be hard work. They’re always seeking short cuts. As soon as they find something that guarantees results “quickly,” “easily,” “effortlessly,” “when they sleep,” “without exercise,” and so on, they whip out their wallets and get the bait, hook, line and sinker. Shortcuts always fail! Take a shortcut and you’re going to lose your way, fall into a deep hole, or smack into a brick wall! Everything worth having in life has a price attached to it – EVERYTHING. If you want a lean and well-built body, you must be willing to pay the price for a lean and muscular body. STOP looking for easy ways. Just pay the price and it’s yours – and it’s yours for life, because you didn’t rely on the crutch of a short-term gimmick.

Loose Your Weight Ultimately Using Correct Habits

Exercise, nutrition and the good mental mind-set (self-image) are the only things you need to lose fat eternally. Supplements are not necessary. Some basic supplements are supportive for “nutritional insurance,” and some supplements can help get faster the fat loss process a little, but not nearly as much as the advertising may have been led you to consider. Even supplements that have been proven useful are only responsible for a small fraction of the results you reach. Based on 20 years of weight loss programs experience in bodybuilding and fitness, I believe that at least 97% of your results will come from good training and good nutrition.

If most of your results issue from nutrition and training, afterward why would you chase after that last 3% “edge” if you haven’t even maximized the first 97%? Isn’t that approach totally backwards? Believe it or not, advanced trainees, competitive bodybuilders or athletes will probably benefit more from using supplements than beginners. High-level athletes are more probable to have “maxed-out” their training and nutrition programs. Their diets are impeccable. Their training is forceful. Their discipline is unwavering.

Once you’ve reached a high level of development from intelligent, intense, methodical training and quality nutrition, and the closer you get to your final genetic potential, the slower your progress will become. Progress can and will keep on for ever, but as you reach higher levels of achievement, this is when supplements and other “minor” details make the most difference. In world-class athletics, competitions can be won or lost by hundredths of a second, a tenth of a point, a portion of a pound, or a single judge’s opinion. The more 3% that supplements might supply could be the difference between winning and losing.

Now look at the loose weight standard beginner or intermediate: They’re still eating junk foods and passing over meals. They’re not even working out constantly. And what do they do FIRST? You guessed it; they at once expire searching for a “shortcut” in the form of a pill or powder. It’s a shame that so many people look for easy ways instead of making the try to learn how to eat and train better. It makes no sense to dive into heavy supplementation first in hopes of finding an easier way.

Get your nutrition and training in order and maximize the first 97%. Once your training and nutrition is on point, THEN, after that by all means, start nit-picking and sweating the small stuff: Take advantage of every legal, natural and ethical edge possible to help you fulfill 100% of your potential and boost a competitive advantage.

Honored exercise physiologist Dr. Tim Ziegenfuss of Kent State said, “Supplements should be the icing on the cake.” That’s a excellent way of looking at it. If anyone tries to convince you that supplements are vital and that you can’t reach your goals without them, look out; they are probably just trying to sell you something. Most commercial diet programs are very low in calories. Numerous borders on starvation: 1200 calories, 1000 calories, even 800 calories or less!

Sarcastically, the more you rip your calories, the more your metabolism slows down. In fact, very low calorie diets can actually make you fatter! It’s physiologically not possible to achieve stable fat loss by starving yourself.

When you eat less, your body burns less. When you consume more, your body Burns more. It’s the vital paradox. Very low calorie diets not just slow your metabolism so you burn fewer calories, they can as well cause muscle loss. Finally, they shut down your metabolism completely. When this happens, the weight loss stops and any boost in calories that follows will cause immediate fat gain. This “rebound effect” is inevitable, because no one can remain low calories forever.

Watch Out With Carbohydrate Meal

No diet matter has fashioned more confusion and controversy than ‘the low carbohydrate against the high carbohydrate’ difference of opinion. Contrary to what certain diet “guru’s” tell you, carbohydrates are not fattening. It’s a flat out LIE to say, “Carbohydrates are fattening.” What’s fattening is eating more calories than your body can use at one time. Though, it’s true that some people lose weight more quickly on a low carbohydrate diet (that’s not the same thing as saying carbohydrates are fattening.) It’s also true that almost every bodybuilder or fitness competitor uses numerous variation of the low carb diet to prepare for competitions.

Despite these information, very low carb diets are not the ultimate answer to permanent weight loss. At worst they are unhealthy. At best they’re a temporary tool that should be used only for short periods to achieve precise fat loss goals (preparing for bodybuilding competition, for diet plans example). Even for carb-sensitive, insulin-resistant, hypoglycemic people who respond well to less carbs and more protein/fat, there are still lots of drawbacks:

1) Very low carb diets are not easy to stick to. If you remove most of your carbohydrates from your diet for a long period of time, you’re setting yourself up for a relapse. The more you cut back the carbs, the bigger the rebound will be when you put carbs back in. That’s why 95% of people gain back all the weight they lose on a extremely low carb diet.

2) extremely low carb diets are often unbalanced and missing many nutrients. It’s still up for debate whether low carb programs like the Atkin’s diet are harmful, but few people would argue that the healthiest diet is one that has balance between protein, carbs and fats and includes a wide variety of foods, not an overemphasis on one food or food group.

3) Very low carb diets may be harmful. Many low carb diets allow large amounts of saturated and processed fats. (No toast or pancakes are allowed, but bacon, sausage, butter and whole eggs for breakfast are just well). In the absence of carbohydrates, you can eat fat with protein and you’ll still lose weight (fat doesn’t necessarily make you fat). But it’s probably not wise to eat large amounts of saturated fat and it’s never wise to eat processed fats or trans fats. Although the effects of low carb, high fat/protein diets on various health markers is still up for lose belly fat debate, most people would be best to opt for a diet that is low in fat (below 30% of total calories) and moderate in carbs and protein.

4) Very low carb diets cause your energy levels to plummet. Not only will you feel tired and irritable without carbs, but your training will as well suffer: Low carbs = low energy. Low energy = poor workouts. Poor workouts = poor results.

5) The weight loss on a incredibly low carb diet can be deceiving. You will definitely lose weight if you don’t consume carbs, but much of the initial weight loss will be muscle and water. Suppose you lose 5 lbs in one week on a low carb diet: That sounds extraordinary, but if one pound is fat, two pounds are water and two pounds are muscle, what did you accomplish? Your goal should never be weight loss. Your goal should be fat loss.

Most people will lose fat only by adding a normal exercise routine to their schedule and by “cleaning up” their diets. By “cleaning up” your diet, I mean that you’ve mastered all the nutritional basics like eating small normal meals, controlling portion sizes, cutting down on unhealthy fats, avoiding sugar and refined foods, etc. Low carb diets can accelerate fat loss. But if you choose the low carb approach to dieting, the best method for most people is to shrink your carbohydrates moderately and add in some of the “good fats.” Cutting out carbs completely is not necessary, it’s probably not healthy, it’s hard to stick to, and it’s no fun! It’s regularly not wise to go to extremes in anything and that’s as true for nutrition as anything else in life: moderation is the key.
