The South Pacific Broadway Show
Lincoln Center Theater brings the iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical to its first-ever Broadway revival in New York. The South Pacific Broadway show is based on the lives of U.S. military men and nurses. It shows how their lives mix with the residents of the Polynesian island occupied by them during World War II. It is the story of Nurse Nellie Forbush who falls in love with a French planter with small children of his own. It also tells the story of the clean-cut Lt. Cable in love with Bloody Mary’s daughter Liat. The musical can be attended at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
