A debt consolidation loan is one of many effective answers to aiming out of debt. It is a personal loan you use to pay all of your debts, especially on your credit cards. You can obtain it from a finance company, or debt consolidation company. This sort of loan is also accessible now with its rising demand from merchant association, credit counseling providers, or financial service groups.

A debt consolidation loan offers you with the way to effectively transfer obligation for many debts to one larger debt which is simpler to track. For added manageability, your payments are distributed out over a more long-term period of time with lower interests.

There are many benefits of getting a debt consolidation loan. It offers immediate answer to your debt problems like leaving you the convenience of paying only one creditor for supervising your total debt and concentrating your attention on it. It also offers you a lower interest bringing you a lower monthly bill.

With this simple procedure of loan consolidation, your monthly payment is defined according to the lowest payment total negotiated with the creditors. Your monthly dues will be remitted to the agency you contracted with. Your debt consolidation firm will then distribute the amount of your consolidated payment to your individual creditors with their agreed terms.

Your creditors will likely reduce their interest rates with proper negotiation, of course depending on your creditors’ policy. Eventually, this can save you thousands of dollars because interest rates get minimized by an average of 5-12%.

Once you have got yourself in debt, it feels like a downward spiral from which you are most likely feeling helpless. This process of loan consolidation is a hope we can take advantage with to recover our self-confidence in our financial life. Definitely, it is a means to relieve your credit and save your life. Now, bankruptcy is far from sight. Thank God.

How To Shop For Kids Room Decor

My little boy is finally growing up. He is almost 4 years old and acting every bit like a 7 year old. We recently moved into a new home and he finally gets his own room. We came from a small apartment where he had to share space with my office supplies. But now we have a huge ranch house in the country with enough room for him to roam around inside and out.

One of my main goals now is to decorate his room. Since he loves to read so much I am going to him his own kids rockers to read in. This way he can feel as if he has his own space. After that we are going to need some kids storage as well. I am thinking of either a book shelf or a bench seat with doors that open upward to store his toys, books and other playthings.

In addition to all that, he is now able to brush his own teeth at nights. He has been using a boring old step stool. To surprise him, I have been looking some really cute step stool for kids. There are different designs available. Things like pirates, surfers, trains and fire trucks. He is into a lot of things these days, I am sure any of those designs will make his new room decor really nice. The last thing I think we need for his new room is a kids rocking horse toy. He always loves to ride those at the fair.

Learn Forex Trading ? Five Simple Forex Trading Rules

Most people have heard of Forex trading, but many people don’t know what it is or why it is so popular. Forex is simply short for Foreign Exchange Trading, and the market if five times larger than the New York Stock Exchange. When currencies fluctuate in value, the differences in their value can be traded just like stocks or bonds.

Before anyone gets involved in Forex trading, though, they should remember that it is easy to loose money, if you are inexperienced and don’t learn the market before making your first trade, it is very easy to make mistakes and not reach your goals.

Formulate a set of rules first, then mock trade with those rules in place, and if your rules do not work, forulate another set of rules until you feel confident enough to enter into the makets.

If understanding global trends is interesting to you, you may want to learn Forex trading. But before you do, read the 5 tactics or rules that I use to keep me a disciplined and profitable trader.

1. Use a trading system which is as simple as possible. Integrate few, yet essential rules. Plan carefully your investment strategies. Study the markets and do plenty of mock trades before using your own money.
2. Look for long-term trends and revise your assessments on a weekly basis. This will help you analyze market trends efficiently.
3. The best way to trade currencies is through what is called the ‘breakout method’.
4. Watch for the breaks that commonly confirmed by stochastic crossed with bearish divergence. This will be your great timing tool whether you will enter a certain deal or not.
5. Integrate effective time management within your system. Time is money and the most precious resource of all.

The Master Cleanse

I stumbled upon the master cleanse program while looking for more info on fasting, and I discovered it to be highly regarded in the fasting world. Some of you may remember it as the same ‘diet’ Beyonce used to lose a few pounds for Dreamgirls.

Reports of other’s experiences were very encouraging to me and gave me an idea of what to expect. I contacted a few people about thier experiences with the master cleanse and some did not get past day 2 or 3 which appears to be where most stumble. I’ve fasted in the past and never could last without eating at all as most fasts require. The master cleanse at least allows some nourishment (the drink used for cleansing which uses lemons is why it is also known as the lemonade diet.)

The Master Cleanse follows a simple routine, however it isn’t exactly easy. Though the guidelines are few, the will power necessary to succeed is another thing altogether. Luckily I came across a book (master cleanse secrets) that gives you lots of tips and tricks to make the master cleanse a much smaller challenge.

It is hyped a lot for the weight loss one can achieve but I’m not over-weight so that is not why I am interested in it. I am looking to get the toxin cleansing that it was originally created for. I felt really tired and sluggish lately and enough people have told me how much better they feel after a fast that I went for it once more.

From what I’ve been reading the typical amount of time spent on the master cleanse diet is ten days, although it is not uncommon for people to stay on the cleanse for longer periods of time. I decided to commit to only 5 days to see how I reacted. Considering I never made it past 2 days before that was quite an accomplishment.

I have to give credit to the secrets book. It was a great resource that kept me going when I hit a sticking point . Just from reading it I had much more confidence in my chance of success. The extra confidence surely led to my success.

Luckily I went to see my doctor for a check-up recently so the timing was good. I strongly urge anyone interested in trying any kind of fast to speak with their doctor first to make sure everything is OK before diving in.

I fell so much better after the 5 day cleanse that I think I am going to go for the full ten days next time. One suggestion I can offer is to take it easy when trasnitioning back into eating (the secrets book gives excellent guidance on this.)

Demolition

Introduction

Taking down old buildings and replacing them with new is a process that has been going on for thousands of years. The destruction of buildings might have occurred during battles or attacks on towns; or due to natural disturbances such as earthquakes or volcanic activity. The resultant ruins would need to be removed and rebuilt. So the idea of demolition would have come about where a population wished to re-inhabit a specific area or site. (One famous example is the Holy Temple in Jerusalem which was deliberately destroyed by the Assyrians around 586 BCE. After 50 years of occupation the Jews returned to Jerusalem and began the re-construction of the second temple which took seventy years to complete.)

However the actual word to demolish only came into being in 1570, and was used from then on to mean the deliberate taking down or destroying of a building or structure.

Preserving the past - preparing the future.

In a country like Britain with very dense populations per square mile, there is a limited amount of land available for building. The land between built up areas of the villages and towns is known as Green Belt and is protected from development to preserve the agricultural and natural heritage which is vital to the economy of the country.

The outcome of this policy is that there is a constant shortage of land for housing and industry, so the developers have to be more creative when providing structures for the population. One of the ways of doing this is to find places where the buildings are no longer commercially viable or have been abandoned, and re-use the area for different purposes. These areas are known as brownfield, or greyfield sites. In some cities, particularly Leeds and Manchester, the old warehouses or factories have been converted into apartments, retaining the original shell and reconfiguring the internal dimensions into modern living accommodation.

Brownfield sites are disused industrial and commercial facilities where the land may be contaminated with hazardous waste or pollution. They are potentially valuable for significant redevelopment once they have been cleaned up. Greyfield sites are urban properties that have been underutilised or abandoned, but do not have the environmental issues of brownfield sites. They were termed greyfield sites because of large areas of asphalt that covered the land. These sites are valuable because they already have the infrastructure such as water, sewage, electricity and gas in place and do not need remedial work to utilise the site.

When a structure is to be removed there are different ways of approaching the task. The size and construction of the building, the new use of the site and whether there are valuable elements suitable for re-use, will all determine how it is to be demolished.

Traditional Demolition

Traditionally, once all the services were disconnected, the machinery and men would go in and just knock down the walls which caused the roof to collapse and then drag all the remains away. Any concrete hard standing would be broken up ready for removal. The site would be cleared of rubbish and disposed of in landfill sites. However modern demolition practices are very controlled and are subject to strict planning, safety and monitoring regulations.

Small structures such as two or three storey houses can be dismantled quite easily with hydraulic excavators and bulldozers using an undermining process. The walls are undermined at the base, in order to topple the structure; at the same time the manner and direction of the fall is controlled. Clean-up and safety issues are also taken into account when deciding how the building will be undermined and demolished.

Larger buildings such as tower blocks and chimneys require more specialist techniques, and are outlined below.

Deconstruction

A new approach to demolishing buildings is deconstruction - a green approach. The aim is to diminish the amount of waste going to landfill sites by carefully preserving valuable materials for reuse. The work may be a painstaking task of dismantling by hand - brick by brick - or beam by beam. The reclaimed materials are then recycled or re-used for future buildings. The results of deconstruction can save in excess of 90% waste from going to a landfill site. When the farmer opposite to my house sold his farm yard with barns for housing, the builder demolished the barns, cleaned up the bricks and reused them for the perimeter wall of the farmhouse. At the time I was looking for some rubble as a base for a path and the builder let me take several barrow loads off his pile.

Recycling

Historically when old buildings were ruined from disuse or war damage the local people would gradually remove the stone and use it to build their new structures such as houses or barns. Hadrian’s wall between Carlisle and Newcastle has mostly disappeared because after the Romans left, the local population made off with the beautifully dressed stone the Roman craftsmen had used in the building of the wall. So even in those days people understood the value of recycling because it was much cheaper than having to quarry and dress the stone themselves.

At one time the rubble resulting from a demolished building would be taken to a landfill site for disposal. Now however concrete can be rapidly broken up with the latest machine called a guillotine and the resultant rubble can be crushed and used as sub-base material for the foundation of the new building which is to replace the old, or sent to other construction sites. These days this crushed rubble is called 6f2 crushed stone or 6f2 crushed material.

Modern machinery and techniques allows the demolition companies to efficiently segregate waste types on or off-site. Wherever possible construction materials are recycled and re-used in the new structure. Recycling of waste contributes to a substantial savings in project costs and is good for the environment.

When we renovated our bungalow 20 years ago the builder, who was a bell ringer, found an old beam from a bell tower that was being renovated, and after carefully treating it, installed it in the kitchen. It gave the room some badly needed character and has never needed any further treatment.

Copper pipes, wiring, roof tiles or slates, floor tiles and doors, and wood panelling are some of the valuable objects that are saved for recycling and re-use. There are specialist yards in many towns where reclaimed old or antique artefacts are available for purchase.

Tall Buildings

The demolition of tall buildings requires skilled techniques. In some cases a wrecking ball on a crane may be used to demolish the top part of a tall building until it is down to a manageable height. However this process is rarely used due to the uncontrollable factor of the swinging ball and the proximity of other buildings.

Other methods of demolition of tall buildings are by implosion using explosives, controlled collapse and piecemeal. Also ‘High Reach’ demolition excavators are used where explosives are not appropriate. Once the building is down to a more manageable height demolition continues in the usual way.

The steeplejack Fred Dibnah became famous in the late 1970’s for his work on demolishing tall chimneys without the need for explosives. He would cut an ingress at the base of the chimney, use wooden props to support the brickwork and then burn the props so that the chimney toppled hopefully in the right direction.

The tallest building to be lawfully demolished was the Singer Building of New York in 1967/8. More recently the collapse of the World Trade Centre after the 9/11 attack in 2001 shows the terrible devastation that could occur if the demolition is not controlled and very carefully contained.

In the demolishing of tall buildings and large structures water hoses and spray equipment is used to control the dust and would is termed a wet demolition.

Explosions

What comes to mind for many people when they think about demolition would be the dramatic collapse of a tall building using explosives. However it is usually the process of implosion, using explosives, that brings down a tall building so that it does as little damage as possible to the surrounding environment. Implosion is essential for dense urban areas and is very fast, the collapse taking only seconds, with the building dropping inwards into its own footprint.

Using explosives is specialist work and is a very skilled process and getting it wrong can be devastating. If an implosion is not prepared correctly the danger may be damage to neighbouring structures or even killing onlookers from flying debris. Even more dangerous is a partial collapse of a building where the remaining structure is unstable and there are still primed explosives that failed to go off. Workers are in great danger if or when continuing the demolition.

Other hazards of working with explosives occurs when the atmospheric pressure from low cloud above the implosion site will cause the shockwave to spread outwards instead of upwards. The wave of energy and sound created will break windows and cause other damage to the surrounding buildings.

Because of the dangers of working with explosives, implosion will only be used when other methods are too costly or impractical.

Health and Safety

Demolition of any building is highly dangerous and is a much more complicated and technical process than most people would realise. Experienced and skilled operators are essential to ensure safety for both workers and public alike. The stability of any structure is reliant on the interdependence of its component parts, so an incorrect sequence of dismantling could result in an accidental collapse.

Health and safety is paramount in demolition work so personnel working in the industry have to be appropriately trained. It is advisable for operatives to have gained a Certificate of Competence in Demolition to ensure they have the necessary skills and safety awareness. All demolition work is regulated by the Construction, Design and Management Regulations.

Sequence of Demolition

There has to be a sequence of actions before any demolition can take place. Each area council will have their own specific list for planning approval, but a typical order would be as follows:-

  • Provision of Information
The demolition company must provide information about the construction to be demolished, its previous use and the appropriate demolition method to be applied including disposal of hazardous substances.
  • Survey of Demolition
Identification of any structural problems as well as risks associated with hazardous or flammable substances will require a thorough survey of the site. (E.g. Where petrol has been stored, ie disused garage, precautions need to be taken to prevent a fire hazard).
  • Preferred and Safe Method of Work
A reputable company involved in demolition will be able to select the appropriate method of disposal. Planning and outlining the dismantling process is necessary for assiduous monitoring. A detailed statement outlining the safety process needs to be agreed by all parties involved before any demolition can take place.
  • Preparation and Planning
There is a lot of preparation to be done before starting work on demolishing the building itself. Issues such as asbestos abatement, disconnecting utilities, rodent baiting, dealing with hazardous substances and making safe any electric, gas or other services have to be resolved.
  • Protection of the Public
Where demolition is carried out in heavily populated areas the protection of the public is paramount. Safety cannot be compromised. Temporary services may need to be arranged, health hazards assessed and people disturbed will need to be informed.

Conclusion

The word ‘demolish’ is interpreted as the deliberate and controlled collapse of a structure. Demolition work is a very hazardous business and demolishing any building is a complex and skilled process. The aim in demolition is to remove an unwanted building as safely and quickly as possible, recycle or re-use most of the old material, and clear the site ready for the subsequent use.

In the centre of Nottingham over the last few years there has been a major reconstruction of what was an old car park into a brand new shopping development. While this was going on the public were only really aware of the boarding around the area, a change in traffic direction and maybe some big lorries going in and out of the site.

So the next time you see structures being demolished to make way for the new, give a thought to the company involved who’s team are daily working in a dangerous environment, adhering to all of the regulations and carefully and meticulously carrying out the project to bring us the modern conveniences we have come to expect and clearing the way for the future.

Economy Stimulus Booster, well sort of?

Ok, well as we’ve all been hearing: The Economy is in the dumper these days.

Why? Well there’s lots of reasons for it but really, in the words of Tony Soprano, ‘Whatta Ya Gonna Do?’

Well it’s simple, in order to make money to pay for your bills, a night out with your partner, a movie, a new bike tire, a gas saving scooter or whatever you may need to pay for you need an income source!

Hold on there ‘Ad King’ you’re saying right now, I just got laid off or took a pay cut but kept my job. What the heck are you talking about? Are you suggesting I get yet another job?

Nope, I’m not saying that all. But I am saying that there is a very easy way to make a little extra cash, or maybe alot in these bad economic times. Here’s my tip on how to make money on the internet. Sell your used stuff online! That’s it. I’m talking about placing free classified ads to sell your used item’s fast online.

Selling your old treasures is a great to make some extra cash. In fact, some of our posters are even making a steady living by selling used stuff at usedad.com right now. Here’s just a few things that people are buying from ads being posted to help you get started.

1. Appliances: if you have a spare fridge or mini freezer, a toaster oven, a microwave, an older tv or stereo, kitchen items

2. Autos: got a car or motorbike or even an boat that’s siting around collecting dust? Take a pic of it and post it on usedad.com! Seriously, you’ll be surprised that people will actually buy these kinds of things from you. I personally just sold my little yamaha bws 50 scooter, got top dollar for it, and then turned that around and bought a used honda big ruckus. It’s a scooter but has a bit bigger engine. Yes, it’s still fuel efficient, it’s a 4 stroke!

3. Clothing: yes, your old clothing can fetch top dollar. People love buying clothes and love getting a deal on clothing. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the price of suits or designer jeans lately but they are sooo expensive in the stores. Just look at the clothing and accessories section we have and you’ll find some awesome deals on some really nice clothes, shoes, boots, purses, handbags, cargo pants whatever!

Thats enough for now. Time for me to see what’s been posted recently at usedad.com

Now, please take my advice, grab a few items from your house, take a pic, post an ad with a good description and make some money and kick this dumpy economy into overdrive!

Using the Proven Methods for Assigning Properties and Wholesaling Real Estate

There are other definitions that people talk about for flipping. Some talk about it as actually purchasing a property, then quickly rehabbing it to resell it. This is something you can do but there are also a lot of other financial risks that can be a problem, particularly in flat or lingering locations.

When we talk about flipping, we are talking about controlling properties at a discount and then assigning (or flipping) them to another buyer for a fast profit. When we talk about real estate wholesaling, we are basically referring to finding properties inexpensively and assigning them inexpensively to another individual or rehabber; thus the term wholesale. For more clarification on jargon, when you transfer a house to another person, this just means you are providing the right to them to purchase the property directly from the seller.

Once you get a home under contract, you will have control. Then you can assign it to another investor at full price or for a flat fee so they can close on it. They take your place in the contract, then close on the house, handle fixing it up and either keep it or sell it to an end buyer for full price. A real estate system like the one created by Matthew Sorensen is a great no issue option to create quick profits using little or no credit or other financing techniques.

Since you have neither of these limitations you can also do as a many as you want making real estate wholesaling a great cash flow system especially once you have a reliable system working for your team!

The rise of skate clothing brands like Volcome and Etnies

Professional skateboarding has become a popular extreme sport that has come a long way from its days in the underground. Skateboarding is now part of mainstream culture with all aspects of the skating lifestyle filtering into our everyday lives. From Tony Hawk computer games to The Simpsons movie it has become a major part of popular culture. One of the big success stories of skateboarding has been the rise of skate clothing brands into high street stores. Skate clothing brands from Vans, Etnies shoes and Volcome clothing can all be found in high street sports shops.

Clothing brands like Volcome clothing and Vans shoes were originally started by people that were involved in sports like skating and surfing. Thanks to their understanding of these sports it has allowed them to produce skate clothes that meet the needs of the average skateboarder and fit in with the skate clothes style. This has resulted in many of the top clothing brands creating innovative designs that have attracted the attention of those outside of their key demographic.

Etnies shoes are a skateboarding footwear brand that was started by a pro skateboarder from France and Volcome clothing was started by a couple of skate and snowboarding fans. Etnies shoes have gone on to design some of the most respected and trusted skate shoes, whilst Volcome have become the choice brand of the slopes with the Volcome snow range. Both these skateboarding clothing brands are proof that by designing clothes and footwear to increase performance for a specific sport you can create a successful clothing brand. DC Skate Shoes are another skate clothing brand that spends a large amount of research and development of DC footwear.

Successful Weight Loss - How?

Have you been struggling with your weight for a long time? Have you tried several fad diets, or maybe even taken diet pills, but none of them worked to get the excess weight off you? You most likely have tried starving yourself. In fact, you probably tried to starve yourself first before trying out all the other fad diets.

Do you lack the willpower to lose weight? Do you need weight loss motivation?

What you need to realize is that starving yourself is not going to (and won’t ever) help you lose weight. In fact, starvation can cause you to keep those excess pounds on and even add on a few! By the way, did you make exercise a part of your weight loss plan? No?

No wonder you can’t shed off those unwanted pounds! The keys to weight loss are nutrition and exercise. And you have to be consistent and persistent too.

Eating a well-balanced diet is one key to sustainable weight loss in the long term. This means cutting back (or eliminating) on fatty foods, junk food, sugary drinks and similar foods. You also need to exercise to increase your body’s metabolism. The better your metabolism, the more efficient your body is burning the calories. When your body is efficiently burning calories, you will see the weight come off. There are breathing exercise designed to encourage weight loss.

Doing the above mentioned isn’t a one-off thing. You need to be consistent — in eating healthy foods and on exercising. Don’t act surprised if you don’t lose weight if you’re still eating the same unhealthy foods you’ve been eating. And you need to be persistent. Don’t expect to shed off the excess pounds overnight; it takes time. Your body needs to adjust itself to a healthy weight loss plan for a few weeks.

Let’s take an even closer look at each of the key aspects to successful weight loss:

1. Nutrition

Switch to non-fattening foods that will provide your body with sufficient amounts of nutrients it needs to function efficiently on a daily basis. Starving yourself doesn’t work for weight loss. Why? When your body recognizes that you are starving it, it will go into survival mode and store whatever food you give it. It may be counterintuitive, but eating can cause weight loss, not starving! Go for low-fat and no-fat foods. Consume fresh fruits and vegetables every day. If you love meat, go for lean meat, preferably salmon or chicken instead of red meat.

2. Exercise

Exercise not only helps your heart become stronger and make you healthy overall, it helps raise your metabolism. The higher your metabolism, the faster your body burns calories. You can achieve weight loss safely if the amount of calories your body is burning is more than the calories you are consuming. Health experts recommend exercising at least 30 minutes three times a week. Walking, cycling and swimming are exercises that can help promote weight loss.

3. Deep Breathing

A few times during the day, do a 15-minute deep breathing session. It is believed that deep breathing helps your body burn energy.

4. Consistency and Persistence

5. Weight Loss Motivation

Frankly, weight loss motivation should be at #1, but for most people it’s the least considered part of a successful weight loss plan.

In order for your weight loss plan to be effective, you need to be consistent and persistent. Keep eating healthy meals and exercising regularly. If you waver or skimp on any part of your weight loss plan, you’ll stop losing weight.

A Few More Tips

Instead of eating 3 big meals, try to eat 5 or 6 smaller meals. Don’t eat four hours before you go to bed as doing so can disrupt your sleep. Your body needs to rest at night and it can’t do that if it has to digest the foods you’ve eaten close to bed time.

No fad diet or diet pill can bring you the same results of a healthy weight loss plan that involves proper nutrition and exercise. This weight loss plan is safe too and guaranteed to give you results!
